The word 'Universe' (with a capital 'U') includes everything of every kind. It includes physical, non-physical, seen and unseen. Spirit? I think so. Those pieces of the Universe that are not physical may very well comprise the biggest part of the Universe. The physical universe includes planets, galaxies, a wonderful array of creatures, at least here on Earth, but, vast and exciting as it is, it is not everything. There is more to the Universe (with a capital 'U').
